At Buffelspruit Boerdery, our family is united by a deep passion for the Kalahari Red goat – a truly special and unique breed of animal. Established in 2022, we are a team of experienced breeders with years of knowledge in the Kalahari Red industry, and we are dedicated to breeding and building sustainable herds of top-quality animals. We pride ourselves on our open, honest communication with our fellow breeders and potential buyers, and we have specialized resources for managing our herd on the farm, as well as for the effective quarantine and transport of these animals to buyers throughout Southern and Central Africa. As members of various Kalahari Red breeding associations and clubs, as well as the South African Boer Goat Breeding Association and Stud Book South Africa, we are fully registered as legitimate, top-class breeders of Kalahari Reds. This gives us access to all the necessary resources to buy, breed, sell and distribute these animals. One of our top priorities is the meticulous management of Kalahari Red genetic bloodlines, in order to ensure as little inbreeding as possible within our herd. Working in association with Stud Book South Africa, we provide registration certificates for all of our animals, as well as genetic analysis for each individual animal and the herd as a whole. In addition, we are constantly at the forefront of cutting-edge software solutions, which empower potential buyers to confidently invest in the breeding of Kalahari Reds and support the management of these animals on the farms – regardless of their location.
